whalesharks

Hi, one off the highlights in the phillipines was certainly the swimming, snorkeling and interaction with the whalesharks in Dosol. Donsol a sleepy town nothing to see nothing to do except for the butangs (local term for whalesharks). Stayed in a nice homestay met an english couple and shared a wonderfull experience with the sharks with them. The first time we saw 5 or 6 times a whale, the first one was a small one (about 4 or 5 meters), then a few of 7 or 8 and the last ones were probably 8 - 9 meters. Super the spotters on the boat see a fin or a shadow in the water they get the boat close and then you jump in with the group (6 people) at first you see nothing cause the visibility is not great and suddenly you see de dots or you re just right on top of him, and have the time to swim along with this huge creature.  A few times the first look of it was when he came right at me with his  enormous mouth just 30 cm away from me. Nice the second day we saw three, but still this was the hours waiting on the boat trying to find one and the effort of coming to this small town.

Voor de rest nog in Bohol een supermooie duik gedaan, wel de eerste x mijnen duikgroep kwijtgespeeld, ja zelfs onder water kan ik verlore gerake, na dat we een paar wit tiphaaien in een soort holte in t koraal lagen te rusten gezien hadden een verkeerde groep groep duikers beginne volgen maar allee mijn 2de duik was zo geslaagd, zoveel verschillende vissen en een paar reuzeschilpadden gezien, filipijnen is echt wel 1 v d toplocaties.

Heb in Bohol de vrienden van July en Kristof een bezoekje gebracht, goe ontvange geweest pintje gedronken in hun resortje blijven eten en nen toffen avond gehad. Misschien iets te lang in Bohol blijve plakke maar had de fut ni om al na paar dage weer verder te gaan. Filipijne ga ik nog wel is moete voor terug keren , maar op kleine drie weke is te kort te vermoeiend om goe te kunnen zien. Zo veel verschillende dingen te zien en te doen op al die eilanden hier(ong. 7200) da ge ni weet waar eerst te beginnen, volgende x zeker. Maar zeker er paar ervaringen gehad die me gaan bijblijven, zwemmen met walvishaaien is ni iets da je overal kan meemaken.
